Change Our Name will hold aTeach-In, Tuesday, October 24, at 7:30 p.m. in the Fort Bragg Library Community Room. We will have speakers with updates on the name change, town history, etc. as well as time for questions and discussion. Free and open to the public. Speakers include:

John Fremont was a1960’s civil rights worker and Freedom Rider. He was a Peace Corps volunteer at Univ. of Malaya, and an English teacher at Mendo College and Brooklyn College. He is the publisher, editor and founder of Cypress House. John Fremont Video

Paula Goodwin is a lawyer with an national firm who grew up as an Army brat and never had a “hometown” but she finally feels like she does now. It was her reading of history that led her to be part of Change Our Name and why she supported the name change of her law school from Hastings College of the Law to University of California College of the Law, San Francisco.

Dr. Richard Louis Miller is the founder of The Health Sanctuary at Wilbur Hot Springs and Cokenders Alcohol & Drug Program, the host, Mind Body Health & Politics and author, Psychedelic Medicine, Psychedelic Wisdom, Integral Psychedelic Therapy and forthcoming Freeing Sexuality.
